Kappa Beach park offers access to a coastline which is usually calm, with clear waters. there can be occaisional rough surf, so be sure to see what conditions are before attempting to enter the ocean. The park itself offers a pavillion with bathrooms and running water (not recommended for drinking), as well as barbecue pits strategically placed in convenient spots.
